Would recommend for a fleeting stay

Cozy room, friendly staff, and convenient location made for a pleasant experience. the flat-screen TV and electric kettle in the room were particularly appreciated after arriving from the nearby airport.

The room was warm and cozy, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff went above and beyond, especially in accommodating our needs for dining arrangements.

Some amenities felt outdated and could use an upgrade.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, car park, and a welcoming bar area. The staff were wonderful, especially when they helped me find my lost bracelet. Highly recommend the delicious food too! I'm coming back for Christmas.

I stayed just one night, and the staff were super friendly. Had a chat with the locals in the beer garden, which was a nice touch. My room was comfy and clean, and the bar downstairs was lively. Only bummer was the road noise outside since I left the windows open. Breakfast was a highlight—hot and tasty!

stayed for 1 night and it was pretty cool. the staff were super friendly and showed us to our room right away. the room was nice and clean, had fresh towels and tea & coffee available. there was a nice vibe in the pub downstairs and it was cool we could go in and out without going through the pub if we wanted. definitely gonna come back again.

only thing was the steep stairs to the rooms, and the bathroom looked a bit tired but still worked fine.

I gotta say the staff were super friendly and the pulled pork sandwich I had was absolutely breathtaking. Plus, the breakfast was top-notch, I mean, I actually looked forward to it and that’s sayin’ something.

Had a delightful stay with easy access to public transport. The meals were standout—especially recommend the Sunday lunch! Make a reservation on weekends to secure a table. Note the stairs. the fire escape is a safer alternative. Staff were accommodating, creating a warm atmosphere.

I really appreciated how close it was to the charming Greenhead Park, which made my morning stroll delightful while the convenient transport links to Huddersfield town centre opened up the city for more exploration, reminding me of my local visits almost 30 years ago.

I loved staying here as it gave me easy access to the beautiful Beaumont Park, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and being so close to the bustling Packhorse Shopping Centre made shopping a breeze. the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making my visit even more enjoyable.
